Valentine commissions 23 Road

Putting community above personal emotions, particularly grief for the loss of a dear friend, the Council Treasurer, the Hon Valentine Buraimoh the Executive Chairman Amuwo Odofin Local Government arrived 23 road in company of his personal aides and contractor to officially certify the work done and commission the road for use by motorist.

To ensure that the work done lasts longer, he instructed that the drainage department evacuate the blocked drainage leading to the buffer zone to allow free flow of water

Addressing business owners on the buffer zone, the Chairman said, “It is disturbing that you have your businesses on restricted area, yet more worrisome that your business activities are contributing to the blockage of the drainages. On this note, I am giving you 48hrs to clear the drainages in your domain.”

The Mayor also took time out to check on the progress of work on 4th Avenue.
