TNN inaugurates Oyo State Chapter

The Tinubu 2023 Not Negotiable (TNN) group on Saturday inaugurated the Oyo State chapter.

The National Coordinator of TNN Hon Kunle Okunola who confirmed to our correspondent stated that the event was a big success with over 850 volunteers from all the local governments of Oyo state.

Okunola asserted that “While our politicians are busy building empires for themselves and family, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was building leaders. It is only in Lagos State that you see layers of leadership, he entrust responsibility to people at different levels which is one of the quality of a good leader”.

“The turnout in Oyo state was very impressive. Honestly it was beyond our expectation, after accreditation we had 877 willing volunteers. This is an indication that our people are ready and convinced to support and promotes Bola Ahmed Tinubu candidature as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Tinubu candidature is obviously not negotiable” the erstwhile People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Organizing Secretary emphasized.

“Penultimate to last Saturday’s Oyo state inauguration we had Lagos, Osun and Ogun states inaugurated. Ekiti State is scheduled for 9th September and southwest will be concluded by God’s grace in Ondo state immediately after Ekiti”.

“Our Southwest Zonal Conference is scheduled for November, where all our southwest states and national executives will converge to develop a blueprint for our national action plan. Immediately any state executives are inaugurated they in turn inaugurates their respective local government chapters so as to reach out to the grassroots and don’t forget politics is best played at the grassroots. We are also taking advantage of the IT to reach out to other willing volunteer members.

Northwest inauguration is next on our agenda after the southwest conference. We already have Timekeeper in Kaduna mobilizing volunteers and other well-wishers preparing for their own inauguration. It’s an all comers affair, Tinubu is loved and accepted across Nigeria” he asserted.

Okunola also spoke on the Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s remark of the North retaining power in the post-2023 era, said it would amount to distortion of the unwritten arrangement not to allow power to return to the South. “This will amount to distortion of the peaceful arrangement of power rotation between the northern and southern Nigeria. It will amount to betrayal of trust against the southwest who supported PMB in 2015 to wrestle power from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)”.

“That is why we at TNN are proactive by clamouring that power must rotate back to the south for peaceful coexistence. So El Rufai shouldn’t make an insensitive remark. Irrespective of party affiliation it’s not contestable that power must shift back to the south and Bola Tinubu should please come out to contest because we know and believe Tinubu is the messiah Nigerians have being waiting for” he concluded.
