The family of Alhaji Baba Kyari, at the metropolitan city of Maiduguri, Borno State played host to family and friends on the occasion of the wedding ceremony of their daughter Amina Kyari.
Among the top dignitaries that graced the bridal ceremony was the Inspector General of Police (IG), Mohammed Adamu.
The IG was welcomed to the event by one of his loyal subordinate and Nigeria Super-Cop Abba Kyari (DCP) the Commander, Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) and a member of International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).
DCP Kyari no doubt Nigeria’s most accomplished detective and a gallant police officer with numerous national and international accolades expressed his gratitude to the IG on social media for attending his sister’s wedding ceremony.

Kyari joined the Nigeria Police in the year 2000 as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police.
He has led several successful covert operations of many high profile cases that includes arrest of Nigeria’s most notorious Kidnap kingpin Billionaire Kidnapper Chukwudumeme Onwaumadike Aka Evans and his gang-members in Lagos State and the arrest of the killers of former Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Air Marshal Alex Badeh ‘rtd’ along Keffi-Gitata Kaduna Road.
