Oloro presents Budget of Sustainability for Year 2020

The Executive Chairman Ojodu LCDA Hon Julius Olumuyiwa Oloro on Thursday presented the budget for Year 2020 tagged Budget of Sustainability to the Ojodu Legislative Council at the Council’s Legislative Chamber.

The Leader of the Ojodu Legislative Council Hon. Wasiu Seidu received the budget in the hallowed chamber in the presence of other legislators. With Community and Party leaders of the LCDA also available to observe the proceeding.

The Chairman in his opening remark stated that “the Year 2020 Proposed Budget with an estimated income for year 2020, Allocation was penned at N1,756,364,585.96k”.

“Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and State Coordinated revenue N278,580,000,00k”.

The estimated expenditure proposed for N2,034,944,585.96k

The well attended event has notable personalities and party stalwarts in attendance at the venue to observe the special plenary session and to grace the occasion at the hallowed chamber.

Also in attendance were the Vice Chairman Hon Olubunmi Oluyadi, Council Manager Mrs Sola Oladunni and the Chairman All Progressives Congress Ojodu LCDA Engr. Hayode Ajakaye. Supervisors, CDA and Party Executives were also in attendance.

The Council leader applauded the chairman for impovement in the performance of the budget and he urged him to double his effort since the total revenue performance for year 2019 was 94%, believing 99.9% performance for the proposed year 2020 budget is a possibility.

The chairman however pleaded with the legislators to help fast track the approval of the budget after doing their oversite scrutiny for the smooth running of the council and to finish ongoing projects unhindered.
