Olojodu installs MKO as Otun-Baaselu of Ojoduland

Acknowledging cheers from well-wishers

It was glitz and glamour at the coronation of Hon Mutiu Kunle Okunola on Thursday as the Otunba Baaselu of Ojodu-Land by His Royal Majesty Olojodu of Ojoduland Oba Samuel Olusegun Benson.

The National-Coordinator Tinubu 2023 Non-Negotiable Group expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the royal father for the recognition and promised to do more for the development of Ojoduland under the headship of the Olofin Royal-family both in Lagos and Ogun States and to all mankind.

In a chat with Lagos Panorama Chief Okunola stated that “this chieftaincy will definitely spur me to do more for both the indigene who are the Aworis and the land for the recognition extended by conferred on me with such an important title of the Otun-Baaselu of Ojodu-Land spanning across the Olofin kingdom. I thank GOD that I have prospered here, I am a landlord in Ojodu, Ikeja and Onigbongbo so I am contributing in support and development of the land and people. Which I believe informed the recognition and chieftaincy title”.

“I thank the Olojodu of Ojoduland His Royal Highness Oba Samuel Olusegun Shobowale Benson and the good people of Ojoduland both in Lagos and Ogun state. For finding me worthy for this very important title. It’s a great honour and privilege. This recognition has come with more responsibilities and I pray for GOD’S grace to be able to do more for the growth of Ojoduland and mankind in general”

Chief Otun-Baaselu of Ojoduland used the occasion to advice youths that are looking up to him to emulate his humble disposition and resilient. He opined “I am from a humble background, from an illiterate parentage but notwithstanding their parents are influential to their growth, so you must respect and obey them”.

“Irrespective of their background they should be focus and discipline in whatever vocation they choose. They should cultivate the habit of hard work and be nice to people they come across because in life you can’t grow without the supports GOD and patronages of other people. They should show undiluted love and be perseverance with all these at the appointed time GOD will take you to the desired position”.

“I want to use this medium to also tell our youths to make Nigeria first in everything they do, we don’t have any other country and this is our home” he concluded.

His Royal Highness, Oba Samuel Olusegun Shobowale Benson, the Olojodu of Ojoduland, the Onigbakule Lubajo1, has declared that his emergence will usher in development in the area, which he said had been lacking social amenities.
