The political establishment in Ojodu LCDA has unanimously endorsed Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK) for a second term as the honourable member to continue representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly in 2019.
This historic endorsement was announced by the Executive Chairman, Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Julius Oloro when Hon. Kasunmu paid a consultative visit to the LCDA Secretariat on Monday 27th August 2018.
During the visit, Hon. Kasunmu was warmly received at the Council by the Executive Chairman, his Deputy, Hon. Olubunmi Oluyadi (a.k.a Tear), the Secretary to the LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Wasiu Seidu, the Deputy Leader, Hon. Tunji Kogbodoku, the Majority Leader, Hon. Olumide Akinade Amos and all other distinguished Ojodu Councillors such as Hon. Gbenga Opebi, Hon. Kazeem Iyanda, Hon. Jemilat Abike Badru as well as the Supervisory Councillors for WAPA, Works, Agric and Environment, Hon. (Alh). Funmi Layeni, Hon. Wale Abdulsalam, Hon. (Comrade) Dayo Olanrewaju and Hon. Babatunde Muraina respectively.
Also at the meeting was the Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman on Legislative Affairs, Hon. Oboli and other key stakeholders.
In his remarks, Hon. Kasunmu thanked the Chairman and his cabinet for their support and warm welcome. He also commended Hon. Oloro for his sterling leadership and superlative performance across the LCDA in the last one year.
The youthful Lawmaker also seized the opportunity to brief the gathering on some of his achievements and activities in the last three and half years as well as what he planned to do when given another opportunity to return in 2019.
In his response as the Chief Host, the Executive Chairman spoke candidly on various community and political matters. He also commended Hon. ARK for what he has done so far and urged him to keep improving as leaders are expected to keep moving and striving until the best is achieved.
Other officials at the meeting implored Hon. Kasunmu to always keep the party and the people informed about his activities in order to further enhance his relationship with the grassroots.
At the end of the interactive meeting, the Executive Chairman, Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Julius Olumuyiwa Oloro and all the leaders present unanimously endorsed Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK) for a second term in order to continue his good works and make more impact on the lives of the constituents through his quality representation.
In his response, Hon. Kasunmu expressed his profound appreciation for the endorsement and all the wise counsels. He also promised to work harder to meet the aspirations and yearnings of the people.
Several Youth leaders and scores of supporters accompanied Hon. ARK on the visit.
